Oboe Lessons
I teach oboe lessons in the greater Seattle area. My studio is located in Everett and I also teach online lessons.
I have over ten years of teaching experience and customize lessons plans for each individual student. Students of different interest levels, from grade school to adult learners, are welcome. I focus on listening, musicality, and technique. My standard plan for each lesson includes a warm up geared to establish a solid daily routine, some etudes and technical studies, a selection from oboe literature, and sight reading practice of a duet to end. If students intend to continue to play oboe beyond the high school years, I also recommend starting reed making lessons by the second to third year of playing.
Violin Lessons
I also teach beginning to intermediate violin lessons. My studio is located in Everett and I also teach online lessons.
Violin was the first instrument I learned to play and I especially enjoy working with beginning string players. Developing a good ear for pitches and proper playing technique are extremely important for string players and I focus on these areas foremost. Each lesson is customized for the student’s age, interest, and technical level.
Lesson Rates
$27.5 for half hour lesson
$41.25 for 45 minute lesson
$55 for hour lesson
